The follow-up to his debut album 1st Born Second, it was conceived following the shelving of Bilal's Love for Sale project in 2004 and conflicts with his former label Interscope Records. I bought this CD on its first release,years ago. The energetic "For You"...the graceful "Love Poems"...all sound reminiscent, yet groundbreaking. It would be a lot better without cussing and repeated use of the "n" word (even Amazon won't let me post it). I can't stop listening to this album. Bilal will have your Lady hooked! I borrowed this album from a friend not long after it came out, I was instantly hooked, I went straight out and got the original where it stayed in my cd player!!!!. We are lucky to have him and his artwork.
